Fine Arts Baltimore is dedicated to exploring the artistic history and traditions of Baltimore. Current and past exhibitions in the region will be discussed and critiqued, local museums and their programs will be featured, and Baltimore artists and their work will be considered.

As an art historian I’ve found that Baltimore’s rich history gets lost in the shuffle and many of its traditional artists are ignored in favor of following trends.  This site will add to the discussion of the fine arts in Baltimore by filling some of these gaps.
